Coverings in universities, schools and kindergartens
Creating friendly learning and working conditions adds greatly to success of educational centres. Here, similarly to offices, aesthetics and comfort of interiors are created mainly by coverings placed on floors in all rooms. Each school room has different specifics - halls need different floors than for example libraries or headmasters' offices. There are also safety matters, as kids often run on these floors and stairs. Coverings with vivid colours or funny patterns may encourage children to play games. We would like to remind you, that all coverings used in educational centres need to have appropriate approvals, under Health and Safety Inspectors' supervision..
Our recommendations concerning functions of rooms and traffic intensity:
halls
There are lots of things going on in school halls. Some people walk, some run, some sit at the walls and revise for tests. Coverings placed there should be durable and have antislip characteristics.
We recommend: PVC coverings, Tarkett
classrooms
Here durability of coverings is also essential. Although movement in classrooms is quite intensive, it is smaller than movement in halls, but here we deal with constant pressure on floors caused by numerous table and chair legs. It is worth putting protective covers on furniture legs. Exposed profiles of metal bars will surely damage even most resistant PVC covering.
We recommend: PVC coverings, Tarkett
libraries
Libraries should help concentrate. They should be quiet and cosy, so people reading books would not disturb each other.
We recommend: carpet tiles or loop pile coverings.

headmaster's office
Who of us did not shiver thinking about being called on a headmaster's carpet? The "carpet" often turned out to be a worn woodblock floor or old creaky flooring. These offices are one of the most representative places in educational centres, and headmasters should have the best possible work conditions, to perform their duties well.
We recommend: velour coverings or carpet tiles.
