Unusual challenges
We often face unusual challenges, which sometimes are not connected with the main scope of our activities. When something like that happens, we react flexibly and we use all creativity and experience of the team sent to do a given work. There were no problems, which we could not manage. Below you will find some interesting examples from the life of Coniveo fitters.
Customer: Comesa Polska Sp. z o.o.
Area: 360 m2
Unusual task: We have taken full responsibility for moving furniture and all types of equipment. We prepared a special system of marking objects, so that they could come back to their original spot. Everything turned out ok - the system worked!
Customer: PHU UNITOP
Area: 151 m2
Unusual task: The customer's building is on a baggy area. We knew it, when we found out that the levelling compound dried very slowly. Meeting deadline of giving in the work was at risk! As the Customer wanted to have coverings installed in a specific period, we used a special equipment for drying rooms, which we have at our disposal. It made the drying period shorter by 2-3 days and it saved the deadline.
Customer: Provincial Statistical Office in Warsaw
Area: in total approximately 3000 m2
Unusual task: As our works were performed during office hours, we had to establish a special schedule for particular rooms. We wanted to plan dates and types of rooms where the coverings would be changed. It was very important to meet the particular deadlines, as delays would lead to more work for employees. It was the middle of a holiday period and presidential elections were coming, that is why there was much work for particular employees. We did our work and each room was given in according to the schedule.
Customer: SWATCH GROUP POLSKA Sp. z o.o.
Area: 912,50 m2
Unusual task: The works have been performed in a new high class office building. Very low air humidity, caused by wrong air-conditioning settings, led to slight electrical charging of the coverings. We came to this conclusion after detailed research of air humidity. We recommended changing air-conditioning settings and everything was fine.
Customer: Individual Dental Practice, 228 Puławska Street 11
Area: 30 m2
Unusual task: Works in dentists' offices have to be performed precisely and hygienically. The coverings in the office had to be on the same level as the terracotta in the adjacent room. It was difficult to do, as most of standard levelling compounds cannot be done in such a thin layer. We chose a compound which allowed us to make a very thin layer and we levelled the floors perfectly.
Customer: DPD Polska Sp. z o.o.
Area: in total approximately 500 m2
Unusual task: Here the old covering was firmly attached to the ground. In such situation the time necessary to tear the old covering off is longer than the installation time! It influences the time of giving in works. Customers have to make their own decision, either to wait or to install new coverings on the old ones. The drawback of such solution is that 2 or 3 times more glue is used. The advantage is that works are performed faster and another isolation layer is created. In the past vulnerable office users could smell the glue. It was possible with two layers. Such problems have not occurred since we introduced ECO glue with a lower amount of solvent.
Customer: 6 grade kindergarten in Wilanów, Warsaw
Area: approximately 1300 m2 of floor and 1500 m2 of walls
Unusual task: Creating patterns with the use of a computer technology was a novelty for us. The pattern was complicated so it was impossible to make it with the use of a hot welding method. That is why we used special, flexible sealing compounds. Our fitters had to use all their knowledge and experience to copy the design. It worked out great!
